Why I decided to enlist in the Military
I have a huge tradition of military service in the family to uphold. I believe that service to your country is the highest honor that you can earn with your own two hands.
Why I chose the Marine Corps
My Father was in the Navy and both my Grandpas were in the Army. I picked a little bit of water and a little bit of dirt, I had to one up them all as well.
Family in the Military
My Father served in the Navy and my grandparents served in the Army. There is a large tradition of service in my family, and I have very big shoes to fill.
Anthony also shared with us his thoughts on receiving the scholarship which includes “I am beyond honored. This will be the first time I see a lot of my family in 2 years.”
